Martin Eberle born in 1981 in Dornbirn/Austria – Musician 

Education: 

2000 - 2004 Studies in Classical Trumpet at the State Conservatory in Feldkirch (Austria) with Prof. Lothar Hilbrand. 

2004-2006 Studies in Jazz Trumpet at the University of Arts Bern/Swiss Jazz School with Bert Joris. 

2007- 2010 Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Arts Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna/IKM. 

Professional Career:

2000 – 2004 Trumpet teacher at the College of Music in Dornbirn (Austria) and member of the Symphony Orchestra of Vorarlberg 

2004 – 2006 Trumpet substitute in the Bern Symphony Orchestra (Switzerland)

Since 2005 Cofounder and musical director of the Jazzorchester Vorarlberg (Austria)

Since 2006 freelance musician & composer

Awards:

1991 – 2000 Winner of first prizes in austrian competitions (Prima La Musica, Musik in kleinen Gruppen, Jugend Musiziert) at the regional and national level

2006 Winner of the Hans Koller Preis in the category Newcomer of the Year with the collective Jazzwerkstatt Wien

2009 Austrian Music Award (Amadeus) Nomination for the CD „Elegant“ with „Die Strottern & Jazzwerkstatt Wien“

2010 Member of the European Jazz Orchestra
